The LANE Score was developed to predict the risk of late seizures (i.e., post-stroke epilepsy) following intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) in Chinese patients.

🔹 It includes 4 simple clinical factors:
Lobar hemorrhage, Age <65, NIHSS ≥15, Early seizures

📊 LANE ≥2 = high seizure risk
📈 Validated across two major stroke centers
🧪 Performed comparably to or better than the CAVE score in key metrics
